11. Too Long No Sex
A condition which happens with higher frequency in the United States of America than in most European countries. The most 'successful' capitalist societies harbor the greatest populations of the diseased who are succeptible to all forms of unseemly substitutes. Treatment is messy, but highly recommended as one treatment generally can treat two sufferers.
Diet, alcohol and drugs, undealt with life issues, all have been known to contribute to this condition.
Symptoms include:
That nagging feeling you haven't had sex in awhile. The feeling of isloation made more senseless and sad by the nagging feeling that the isolation does not lead to anything better; that the experience is really for no reason, meaningless. Increase in greed. Loss of sympathy for others. Inverse of genorosity of spirit. Crippling fear the future will be just like the present or worse. Projection of anxious energy into narrowly funneled topics. Self-assured knowledge of and discomfort with fundamental assumptions about expectations in one's life. Lack of imagination (the ability to see beyond the wall which has been constructed by the predominant value system), no imagination to escape or transcend the present, like the highly-elaborate mental trap seen from the inside of any ghetto.
Common causes:
Children. Expectations. Lack of honesty about human nature. Mania. Constant pursuit. The need to continually 'do something.' Fear of silence in a room. Fear of down time. Suspicion of group activities which do not have a clear agenda. Isolation from neighbors. Assumption that other people are as emotionally stunted as you.
Extreme Conditions:
One should look out for a tendency towards inhuman standards framed by the 'values' which shove terms and conditions down our throats. Predominant values leading to the condition of Too Long No Sex usually are a natural occurence in any dysfunctional society. Many 'values' have little respect for human/all life existence, or the values and inherent nature of existence.
These are extreme symptoms exhited in patients suffering from this condition. (Sexual Intervention is highly recommended. If you are a caregiver, please take note.)
Also please note, like any serious medical condtion, symptoms tend double up over time to make the situation worse. Generally compounded symptoms are psychological in nature, rather than physical. (Although some shrinkage is usually normal.)
